Trademark notice.

Three of the four, Defense as a Service, Prevention Dividend, and Prevention Ratio, are the subject of pending applications with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

The marks are held for one reason, stated in the book that introduced them (Chapter 10, note 3): “The frameworks are released for public use under the principle that paradigm shifts require many builders; the trademarks protect quality and coherence as the approaches scale.” Anyone may compute an institution’s Prevention Ratio™, cite the Prevention Dividend™ evidence, or build on the Five Pillars. What the marks identify is the source of the instruments, the standard’s stewardship, and the services offered under them.
